What is Jiu-Jitsu?
Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling-based martial art focused on leverage, technique, and control rather than size or strength. It teaches how to defend yourself, stay calm under pressure, and solve problems through movement and strategy. Training builds confidence, discipline, and physical conditioning while emphasizing safety, respect, and continuous learning—on and off the mats.

Parent Guidelines:
Parents must stay on the premises during class.
Children should arrive in appropriate attire for the class.
We understand the littles can get rowdy and easily distracted. They’re welcome to move around the mat, as long as they aren’t interrupting class or putting themselves, or others in unsafe situations (like running between students who are sparring.)
If the instructor notices a student is no longer able to stay focused or be redirected, and is becoming disruptive or unsafe, they may be asked to step off the mat and try again next time.
Parents, if the above happens, please remember that we understand some children have more energy than others. We want you to know its okay! We still want you to bring them back!
